SAFARI

As you venture across the walkway, an elephant’s trunk greets you…

From primitive Africa to the delicacy of Syrian furniture inlaid with mother-of-pearl and bone, the journey also passes through Andalusia. We have recycled as many of the house’s historical ceramics (azulejos) as possible to create delightful puzzles in every corner.
Upon entering, stop to your right and admire the artwork made from sandal soles collected on the beaches of Togo: “The Warrior” by Foli Kossi Gérard Tete Aka, known as “Tesprit” (2020).
The photograph of the twin girls, straight from Morocco, will invite you to explore the mezzanine and its balcony. It’s a work by Déborah Benzaquen titled “Nouha et Narjiss”, from the series “Les inséparables” (2019), discovered at the 1.54 Art Fair in Marrakech.
On the left and central walls, you can see wall lamps by the artist Kurtis Jere (USA).
On the mezzanine, two “SAFARI” chairs by Kaare Klint (1933), highlighted by a Syrian writing desk dating from the late 19th century.

We are here to offer you the very best stay.
